Pointe-aux-Trembles, established in 1674, was a township that was annexed in 1982 by Montreal , Quebec , Canada. Before the 2002 regional reorganization, this was the last city to be incorporated into Montreal. A windmill can be located at the intersection of Notre-Dame Street and Third Lane, which was built in 1719. Its three storeys make it the tallest windmill currently standing in Québec. In 1650, Rouen France's Grou family founded a holding land here.
