| Available April 1 About the place: I am renting the west-facing master bedroom in my sunny, two-bedroom apartment in Riverdale! The unit is a first floor walk-up with two outdoor spaces and tons of light. It is located in the 100 Lewes condo complex, with a bus stop three minutes from the front door and an extensive trail network accessible at the end of the street. The kitchen is fully equipped, and there is a high-efficiency washer and dryer in the unit. Utilities are not included although the bill has been surprisingly low. Parking is available for $20 a month. About you: I am looking for a roommate who will care for the space as much as I do, who values open communication and direct conflict resolution. This home is a place for my friends and family to feel comfortable - canines included! - and I hope yours will as well. Foundational to that is mutual respect for each other and our communities, and a commitment to keeping the place as serene as possible. About me: I was born in Alaska and raised internationally (South Asia & Eastern Europe). I’ve lived in the Yukon for 3.5 years, working primarily in community support. I am also a working artist, specializing in the performing and literary arts. I love to be outside, and I have to be active pretty much every day (or else haha). I also love animals - fair warning there will be a puppy moving in pretty soon! My hobbies include cooking overly-elaborate meals for friends, overly-ambitious DIY projects, and vegging on the couch with a book or show after I overestimate my efficiency.
