| Mature room mate sought march 1st for a renovated character house in cathedral area. There are 3 rooms available upstairs while my bedroom is in the basement. I travelled 6 months in the winter before covid. I try to keep a gender balance and involve everyone in the decision to accept new room mates. Good communication among everyone is important as a basis for a friendly environment. mature means respect for others. no head games. you have an understanding of other cultures. this is a safe home. If you change your character, become aggressive or troublesome you will be evicted. No smoking (Inside or outside) . No smoking dope every day but weekend recreational use. No drinking to excess but an occasional wine or beer is ok. Foreign students are welcome. We are an international group who are independent personalities but still like to chat. We all share in house chores and especially cleaning up after ourselves. We share the kitchen, bathroom and living rooms but there is lots of personal space if needed. I even have a library. Please don’t eat cooked meals in your room, its not a hotel atmosphere and I have had problems with smells and mess on carpets. After you use the kitchen and bathroom please leave it clean for the next person. There is fast wifi. Close to downtown, shopping and wascana park for walking and cycling.
