Woman sought for a furnished room (firm bed, desk, chairs) in a second storey 6 1/2 at the intersection of Kensington and St Catherine streets in Lower Westmount at the western edge of the downtown. Women will be prioritized to balance a mixed apartment. It’s just a 12-minute walk west of Atwater Métro along St Catherine street. The room faces an inner courtyard overlooking St Catherine Street, and it’s bright and airy. The rent is $600 (available immediately or July 1st) and all utilities (hydro, heating and internet) are included in the price. The room measures 13’ x 9’ with 2 big windows and a closet. We’re looking for a thoughtful and considerate housemate. There will be 3 people living here altogether. The apartment has lots of character, a toilet and a washroom, a large kitchen, a living room, a dining room, and the usual appliances, with laundry in the building. There’s a Bengal cat and a Siamese running around in it. It’s quiet and spacious with large windows, wooden floors and solid fixtures. The apartment has southern, western and northern exposure, and so when the sun shines, it’s bright and sunny all day long. I studied/taught literature and film and Katya likes fashion/style/aesthetics. We both like cinema, the arts, and food. This area has a real life to it with its proximity to St Catherine Street near the downtown core, its parks, its cafes and Westmount Library. Please feel free to describe yourself in your reply. Chambre dans un 6 1/2. La chambre est à 12 minutes à pied à l’ouest du métro Atwater au long de la rue Ste-Catherine proche au centre-ville. On prioritise des femmes pour équilibrer une colocation mixte. On est à la recherche d’une femme réfléchie et responsable (3 personnes au total). L’appart (2ème étage) est situé aux coins des rues Kensington et Ste-Catherine au sud de Westmount. La chambre est: 13’ x 9’ avec 2 grande fenêtres et il y a une garde-robe. Le loyer est $600 (y compris l’internet, l’hydro, et le chauffage). La chambre est disponible maintenant ou le 1er juillet. Toutes les charges sont comprises dans le loyer. La chambre donne sur la cour à l’arrière et elle est meublée (lit ferme, chaises, bureau, etc) et ensoleillée. L’appart a beaucoup de cachet, hauts plafonds, et planchers en bois franc, et c’est tout équipé avec électroménagers (buanderie dans le bâtiment), deux toilettes, une grande cuisine, une salle à manger, un salon, un chat bengal et un siamois. La Rue Ste-Catherine et ses commodités se situent à deux pas d’ici et le quartier est animé par une belle énergie avec ses parcs, ses cafés, et la bibliothèque de Westmount. Et c’est juste 12 minutes à pied du centre-ville. Moi, j'ai étudié/enseigné la littérature et Katya est esthéticienne. Elle aime la mode et un bon style de vie.
