| Hello! Our roommate Stephen is leaving on a trip in January and we are looking for someone to share our home for a few months. It is available from January 14th onwards (until May 31st). We are looking for someone to stay for as long as possible between these dates, though are open to those who are looking to stay for a minimum of months as well. The rent is 627$/month + amenities (hydro and wifi // approx. $50). About the place, we strive to maintain a warm and comfortable home, where everyone feels at ease and can be themselves. We appreciate living in a shared, clean and orderly space, while respecting everyone's needs and limits. We are looking for an autonomous person who shares our values, is proactive in communicating, and taking care of the shared space. Here is a little bit about who you'd be living with: - Jeff (31) (Eng), Part-time pottery teacher and filmmaker. Spends most of his week working at a pottery studio, working from his own art studio, practicing dance, & doing yoga. Values community, authentic communication, plants, meditation, the earth, improv. dance, and being outside. - Pascale (26)(Eng, Fr, Sp, It), will arrive in the collocation mid-december after having spent 2 years in Spain. Studied cultural anthropology and is very interested in the ways in which people organize and find meaning. What makes her feel most alive is moving her body - loves to climb and to dance (contemporary, salsa, swing, improv, etc.). She is a playful and curious person who is looking for ways of engaging meaningfully in forms of social solidarity. The Apartment: A very bright and colourful third-floor 5 ½ in the mile end. We have a living room, two small balconies (and a small balcony garden), one bathroom, a combined kitchen/dining area, a washer & dryer, and lots of plants. It is about a 10-15 min walk to the PA (grocery store), and the Laurier and Rosemont metros. We share household items, dish soap, laundry soap, toilet paper, cleaning products. Unfortunately, no pets are allowed. The Room: Med-Small size room (9.75ft X 9.3 Ft - 3 X 2.85meters), which is furnished with a double bed, desk, and chair. There is a small closet with shelves, where you will be able to store your clothes. Please send us a description of yourself and why you are interested.
