| Looking for a roommate to share our shared flat as of November 1st. 610$/month plus amenities (more or less 60$ additionally). We are looking for someone who is keen on co-creating a warm and comfortable home-space together. We enjoy sharing, chatting, and sometimes taking part in activities outside of the apartment. We consider relationships as spaces for learning about ourselves and others, opportunities to grow in awareness, playfulness and responsibility. We appreciate living in a shared, clean and orderly space, while respecting everyone's needs and limits. We are looking for an autonomous person who shares our values, is proactive in communicating, and taking care of the shared space. Ideally, we are looking for someone who is interested in the long-term. We are :: Jeff (31) (Eng), Part-time pottery teacher and filmmaker. Spends most of his week working at a pottery studio, working from his own art studio, and attending dance classes. Values community, authentic communication, plants, meditation, the earth, improv dance, and being outside. Stephen (28) (Fr/Eng), has a university background in psychology & history, taught high school ethics for a bit, but is currently in a process of finding what feels right to him. Into meditation, (or any type of exploration of the self and internal processes) and is curious about others. Likes to dance (salsa/bachata), plays music (saxophone), and is a recent convert to (the expanding church of) climbing… The Apartment: A very bright and colourful third-floor 5 ½ in the mile end. We have a living room, two small balconies (and a small balcony garden), one bathroom, a combined kitchen/dining area, a washer & dryer, and lots of plants. It is about a 10-15 min walk to the PA (grocery store), and the Laurier and Rosemont metros. We share household items, dish soap, laundry soap, toilet paper, cleaning products. The room is unfurnished. Unfortunately, no pets are allowed. The Room: Med-size room, enough to comfortably fit a bed and desk. There is a small closet with shelves, which is perfect for someone with no dresser/wardrobe. Option to buy Sarah's comfy bed for $150.
