| The Room for rent is approximately 110 square feet (about 11’ by 10’). It is well-lit with a large south-facing window. The renter will have access to all standard shared areas, like a fully stocked/loaded kitchen, small dining nook, living room, a semi-private bath/washroom. This is a house. So, laundry (washer/dryer) are on site downstairs. Wi-Fi and Hydro-Electricity are both included. The room is furnished (by default) with a large "King" size bed as you can see in the pictures. Depending on your needs, we can UN-furnish it (IF) you have your own things: a smaller "Full"-size bed is also available (IF) you need space for a desk to work or study. Must be cat-friendly, as there are three (3) playful furballs already living here. The house has central HVAC with HEPA filtration --- for the cats/allergies --- and "The Room" has individual heat control. We are a few minutes’ walk to Saint-Jean Boulevard and just a short drive to many local banks, stores, restaurants etc. including the Fairview Shopping Centre. If you drive, there is one small parking spot available in the driveway for an additional $100 per month. Free street parking is also available, depending on snow removal schedules. In the summer, there is also a backyard with a small patio and BBQ. The Room will be available March 1, 2025, and is available to rent until the end of December 2025. We can discuss extending further at that time. |
