| Bedroom available for rent in a furnished apartment in Pointe-St-Charles. 20-minute walk from Charlevoix metro, 1-minute walk to bus stops (57 and 71, both of which go to Charlevoix) and Batiment 7 (co-op community centre with grocery store, tavern, art school, and other resources). Close to several parks and the Lachine Canal, as well as shops/cafes on Wellington and Centre. Lots of street parking available nearby. The apartment is air-conditioned and has in-unit laundry and a fully equipped kitchen. The living room and dining room areas are fully furnished. The available bedroom is not furnished but there is the possibility I can provide furniture if desired – please contact me! The available bedroom also has a door onto the back balcony with a view over the apartment courtyard. The front of the apartment has a balcony with a beautiful view of the downtown Montreal skyline. I am a PhD candidate at McGill looking to rent the available bedroom to another woman. I work from home most of the week (writing my dissertation) but also go onto campus occasionally. I’m a fairly quiet person and keep a tidy, quiet home – looking for someone interested in the same! I like having movie or TV nights with roommates and every now and then have friends over for dinner. Rent is $825/month plus hydro and Wi-Fi (usually about $80 per month, together). I’m looking for a March 1 move-in, ideally with commitment to staying until July 1, but I'm flexible on dates. There’s the possibility of renewing for the next year of the lease if we work together well and both want to continue living together.
