| Location: Oakwood Village, just a 15-minute walk to Eglinton West Station & Multiple bus routes nearby. Room Details: Medium-sized unfurnished bedroom on the 2nd floor. Option to keep the queen mattress (needs a frame). Rent: $1250/month (includes utilities, streaming services, security and WiFi). First and last month’s rent required. Off-lease arrangement with a signed roommate agreement. About the House: Open-concept home with shared ensuite laundry, dishwasher, and 1.5 washrooms. Fully furnished common areas with multiple couches, a high dining table, and bookshelves. Music-filled home featuring classical, reggaeton, Latinx, and sooooo much more. HVAC system shared with downstairs tenants. Note: Not wheelchair accessible (several stairs to entry and second floor). The Vibe: This is a lively, pet-friendly home. Two cats, a dog, and three small birds roam freely, with visiting pets from time to time. You’re welcome to bring a small pet that can be kept in your room & your space will be pet-free if you prefer. We are scent-positive, harm-reduction aware, and omnivorous. Our home is ever-changing – we love rearranging and refreshing the space every few months. Friends and family are occasionally hosted, and the home maintains a welcoming and clean environment. Who We Are: We are a queer, POC household with a love for horror movies, board games, hiking, exploring Toronto, food, and music. One of us is a student and social justice worker juggling four jobs with an organized and clean lifestyle. The other is friendly, organized, enjoys hosting BBQs, and is a proud furparent! Our Pets: Huxley Albus (dog): Friendly with people but needs slow introductions to other dogs. Smokey & Callistos (cats): Smokey is shy but affectionate; Cali takes time to warm up. Who We’re Looking For: We’re seeking a respectful, clean, and pet-loving housemate. Priority will be given to POC and fem-identified individuals. Students and young professionals are welcome!
