| We are a Christian centered farm with a mission to help those in need. Located 13 km outside of town near oxford center. We offer large furnished or unfurnished rooms that can be available immediately. If you do not cook for yourself or your food budget is tight, ask about our food provisions. Rent is reasonable ($600) and we will work with you on a last months rent adjustment if this is something you need. So we don't waste each other’s time 2 major things. Tobacco smokers can skip this ad due to allergic intolerance . And this living arrangement isn't a suitable place for couples or those actively dating. NO CATS OR DOGS. (all other pets can be considered) We have 6 trained mouser farm cats. They do not get along with domesticated city cats or ANY dogs. They will however protect other pets and small animals. The cats are very socialized and will want to interact with you. So you must like cats. They do not have to be a part of your space. About the place: This is an active organic broiler chicken farm. We also raise our own free range meat and egg birds to serve the household. The property is 250 acres. 40 acres of that are bush and river with a maintained trail. Lots of wildlife including deer and turkeys. Fishing too. The house is over 120 years old and is in mostly original condition and rock solid. Not fancy, but solid and functional. You would be living with myself (farm manager 43), a mid 30’s journeyman and a 65+ female artist. We are self sustaining, self sufficient, homesteader, natural path, gardeners and entrepreneurs to varying degrees and are looking for the same like minded individuals. We have a massive kitchen and it is used frequently for making big batches, meals, cooking projects and so on. You have the option of using it or you can set up yourself a kitchenette in your room for your own convenience. We are not partiers and company is only occasionally entertained. We are 420 friendly as we continually are growing it and processing it and believe in its medicinal use. You must be ok with the smell of cooking cannabis from time to time. There is also a dedicated ventilated room if you like smoking or vape it. We are looking for the RIGHT individual to share the space with.
