My flatmate is moving in with his girlfriend, so I'm looking for someone to take his room. Move-in date has some flexibility. Ideal place for a student or professional. The building has a laundry room with four washers and four dryers, an exercise room with equipment, and a limited amount of basement storage. Conveniently located in Uptown Waterloo. Near the Perimeter Institute (4 minute walk), Waterloo Square (7 minute walk), Valu-mart / Your Independent Grocer, Shopper's, Waterloo Park, and GRT stops including the 301 / LRT, 7, 16 and 5. Close to the King Street shops and restaurants, but far enough that you don't hear the noise at night. A bit further away (14 minute walk) is the Bridgeport Plaza with Bulk Barn, Walmart, and Sobeys. Parking spot available at $70.62 per month (subject to controlled increases each December, usually around 2.5%). If you look at the floorplan, the larger of the two bedrooms is the one available. It will be unfurnished, but my flatmate has a queen-sized bedframe and computer desk for sale. Water is free, but electricity isn't included in the rent. The unit has carpeting except in the kitchen and washroom. I had the carpet in the common spaces professionally cleaned recently. The unit doesn't have central air, but I have portable air conditioners in the living room and my bedroom. If you need an air conditioner, my flatmate has one for sale.
