Rent control: Unit was used for residential purposes prior to Nov 15 2018 Location: Bloor & Roxton Relation to unit: leaseholder seeking roommate Lease terms: Available starting March 1st for a roommate agreement - length can be negotiated, but longer term (1 year) agreements are preferred. Required documents: proof of income, last month's rent to secure room, landlord reference and credit check strongly encouraged Additional information: The house: The room is in a large duplex situated near Christie Pitts park. The location has a walk score of 89 (i.e. most errands can be accomplished on foot!), and is about a 3 minute walk from the line 2 subway line. Some nearby neighbourhoods are Palmerston-Little Italy and Bloorcourt Village. The house has a large patio balcony (enough to fit a BBQ plus seating), as well as some common and storage areas. It has been well maintained by the landlord. Price includes all utilities including internet. Unfortunately, there is no on-site laundry. The roomies: The house will have 3 roommates total, including myself. I am male in my early 30s working in the financial industry (chartered bank - manager of analytics). I've lived with a bunch of roommates for the last 5 years, so am used to splitting up household chores. I really prioritize having a place that is clean, especially the common areas (i.e. I do my dishes immediately after I finish cooking). I am a non-smoker and drink socially. The other roommate is a woman in her mid 20s who is currently finishing up her masters degree. Both of us are very friendly and respectful of others! If you're interested, feel free to reach out!
