| Available May 1st. Furnished room for single occupancy in a shared household. 5 minute walk to Runnymede Subway, quiet, peaceful neighborhood. Includes all utilities, high speed internet, use of shared kitchen and laundry and shared bathroom. Lots of shopping, gym, pharmacies, grocery, delis, library etc within 5 to 10 min walk. I live with my 29 year old son and his girlfriend of 10 years (they help me manage the household) and we all love having people to share our home with. I have hosted as a foreign exchange since 2007 and enjoy creating a happy, comfortable home for all. My previous tenants have been very happy here and call my home a "home away from home". The room is located on the second floor of the home. The main floor kitchen is shared and always kept clean so that all can enjoy the benefits of a clean and cared for kitchen. Included in the kitchen is a stovetop, oven, microwave, blender, coffee maker, all cutlery and cooking tools. The dining room table next to the kitchen is a nice place to eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The laundry room is in the basement and is included in the rent cost (must purchase your own laundry detergent). The shower and bathroom is located on the second floor, right next to your room and is always kept clean. It is a shared bathroom (this just means cleaning up after yourselves and being conscious of not spending an hour in the bathroom so others can use it too). The front and back doors to access the household are always kept locked for everyone's safety and to ensure the cats do not get outside. Our goal is to create a space that is comfortable for all, where you can have your own private space and feel at home, while also respecting the intricacies of a shared household (being conscious of excess noise, cleaning up after yourself, and being respectful of others). |
