| This furnished private basement room is available for May 1. Long term tenants or students are preferred. It has a new bed with drawers underneath, new carpet, a desk, closet, bookcase etc. Everything is included in the price Like; unlimited High speed internet, laundry, hydro etc. You would share the kitchen, bathroom and laundry room with 2 others (both George Brown students) and they currently they would prefer another woman for a roommate. The kitchen has everything you would need for cooking but there is no living room. This room is average size for Toronto (10 feet X 10) and has a good ceiling height of 8 feet. There are windows in the apartment but the room itself has no window. It's a 3 minute walk from 24 hour Queen st streetcar (King St as well). Also there are bus stops that are ten minute bus ride from Pape or Donlands Subway station. Its located halfway between downtown and the beaches in the area known as Leslieville or south riverdale. Its is perfect for a George Brown student as it is on the east side of downtown. It’s a 10 minute drive to downtown. The house is in a very good neighbourhood with lots of great restaurants, coffee shops and 3 big grocery stores that are 3 minute walk away. I am the landlord and a single father of an 8 year old girl and we live in the house in the apartment above the basement. And because of this, I really want tenants who are not loud and obnoxious with issues that will negatively affect the energy of the house. Nice, pleasant, positive people are welcome to apply. As well my daughter speaks Spanish and needs to practice so Spanish speaking people are also very welcome. The rent is 775 but I don’t mind lowering the rent for really good, quiet, low maintenance tenants. |
