| I have a spacious, updated, and furnished 760 sq. ft. 2-bedroom apartment to share. If you are friendly, independent, and communicative – that’s a great start. While I am looking to share the space and rent, please know that I am not a landlord and I don’t want this to be a purely transactional relationship. I enjoy the company of others. I don’t expect “best friends”. What I am looking for / asking for in a roommate is friendly social cues, some engagement (e.g., not ignoring each other, maybe some banter), etc. – all while each person enjoys their own space and is free to do their thing. The 115 sq. ft. furnished bedroom available rents for $1300 per month (inclusive) for a single occupant (double occupancy is +$300). It comes with a large window and generous closet space, and shared access to all common areas. First and last months rent is required, plus proof of income, proof of status in Canada, and reference(s). There would be a roommate sublet agreement between you and me; I am the Tenant (Leaseholder). About me: I am an independent, focused, and friendly late-forties professional gay / bi male who works from home much of the time and is out on a regular basis. About the building: Includes a gym, an indoor pool, and a 360-degree rooftop deck with stunning views of downtown Toronto and Lake Ontario. Parking and storage lockers are available through the building. Location: The village / Church and Wellesley, Downtown Toronto Wellesley Street East between Jarvis and Church.
