Description
Offering two rooms for rent: A spacious Master bedroom and a very large room in a high-ceiling, light-filled and very spacious Junction home on a quiet street yet surrounded by all amenities you’ll need and close to the subway line. Single occupancy, males preferred. Very quiet house. Hi! I’m looking for two new roommates to share this fantastic 4-bedroom, split-level home with. If you value a LOT of space, privacy, lots of light and extra comfort in a charming neighbourhood, this could be the perfect place for you! The Unit Size: 4 Bed / 2.5 Bath, over 2000 sq ft of living space! Layout: First Floor: Bright, spacious, open-concept kitchen, living, and dining areas, a large TV room, a sunroom, a powder room, a large bedroom, patio and large garden with 3 trees. Second Floor: 3 bedrooms and the main spacious bathroom with 2 shower heads and a claw-footed bathtub. The bathroom and the closets between rooms separate the rooms so there are no shared walls. Highlights: butcher block countertop in kitchen, large kitchen island, 2 fridges, huge dining table, in-house laundry. Great for a hybrid setting if you want to work on the dining room table, in the living room on comfortable armchairs, or in the incredibly comfortable lazy boys in the TV room. You have the choice of locations! Large room (on first floor, shown as 1st room in order of appearance): Size: about 163 sqft – easily fits the queen bed, nightstand, desk/ home office and desk chair, the closet, the dresser, the huge shelving units with cabinet doors (five 8-feet tall cabinets), another chair, and some for any other hobby/ exercise space. It is extremely quiet on the ground floor, as it has 2 sets of huge windows before reaching the street (sunroom is the buffer on an already very quiet street). Available: June 1st Master bedroom (on second floor, shown as 2nd room in order of appearance with 3 pictures): Size: Very large 175 sq ft – easily fits the queen bed, nightstand, desk/ home office and desk chair, the dresser, the shelving unit with cabinet doors, a large cushiony armchair with its little side table, then some for any other hobby/ exercise space. Large closet. It's a quiet space overlooking the backyard. Ideal for a professional in a hybrid setting. Available: July 1st Location Junction Neighborhood (near Keele & Dundas St.) – a great area with tons of nice restaurants, shops, and cafes and multiple other amenities within a 1-minute to 10min walk along the Dundas West Strip. High Park is just a 15-minute walk away Transit-Friendly: Keele subway station (15 min walk) or a choice of 4 buses going in the same direction, stop 1min from the house (Keele & Dundas West). Rent and Availability: Large room: $1280/month. Available June 1st (slightly negotiable) Master bedroom: $1380/ month. Available July 1st (slightly negotiable) All utilities and furnishings included! Just bring your own pillows, comforter and sheets. Extra for systematic use of AC, a parking spot that is available ($100/month), and storage space (depending on what is stored). Rental Terms I'm ideally looking for a long-term roommate, but short-term could be okay too. Required Docs: Proof of income, landlord references, and one month’s rent as deposit. About Me An ambivert, I’m working in management consulting. I’ve lived here for over 5 years and absolutely love it! I walk everywhere in just minutes for all my errands. In my spare time, I enjoy exploring neighborhoods, writing, cooking, salsa, a bit of gym, and watching TV. I’m tidy, respectful, and considerate, and so are the roommates. The house is extremely quiet. What I’m Looking For: A roommate who is clean, considerate, communicative, and a non-smoker inside the house. If this sounds like a good fit, please reach out and share a few lines about yourself and answer the questions below, and any questions you have! 1. Are you an international student or on work permit or permanent resident, etc? 2. If you are working, do you work remote or at office? 3. How many times do you cook during the week (ie daily, weekly)? 4. Age 5. What is your current job? A letter of employment will give you priority over others. 6. What are the top 3 most important things you look for in roommates? 7. Length of stay. 8. Expected move-in date. Thank you !
