I'm looking for a long-term roommate to join me in this beautiful sunny home in one of the coolest neighborhoods in Toronto. Nestled on a quiet, tree-lined street, this bright open unit is the perfect mixture of peaceful yet super central living. Located in Little Italy/Harbord Village, you'd be a 5-minute walk to tons of amazing bars, restaurants, thrift stores, coffee shops, grocery stores, and yoga studios. This is a spacious and bright 2 bedroom, 2 bath main floor unit of a house, with high ceilings, big windows, gorgeous west-facing light, and a private sunny backyard. The unit was recently renovated and is outfitted with brand new appliances and finishings. The room has a large north-west facing window which gets amazing afternoon sunlight, and a private ensuite with a brand new toilet / shower. It’s a somewhat cozy room, so a double bed would probably be the best fit to ensure you can still have a dresser/cupboard and desk. A bit about me (the roommate)— I’m a female in my early 30s and run a sustainable fashion brand, which keeps me pretty busy. I have a fairly flexible schedule and work from home a couple days a week. In my downtime I love reading, patio-hopping, trying new recipes, and lounging in our sunny backyard. I value a quiet, peaceful and cozy space with open communication. Ideally you are— Someone in their late 20s/ early 30s who’s clean, respectful and friendly. I like having the occasional movie night, glass of wine, chat with my roommate (and I hope you do too), but also really value down time. An in-person or hybrid working situation would be best so we can both have days in the house on our own. The house is fully furnished, so ideally you don’t have a ton of stuff, but I’m open to your contributions! No smoking, no pets, no couples. Secure garage parking is available for $150 per month, or else you can apply for a street permit.
