| Mittersill Resort is located in scenic Franconia Notch (u-5hrs drive from Ottawa/u-3hrs from Montreal). The resort (Gold Crown designation from Resorts Condomium International) has an indoor pool, sauna, jacuzzi, exercise room, game room, a pub on site to enjoy light meals with a pool table, and both a video and book library on site. All units include a fully equipped kitchen, living room and dining area. Cable TV, free internet and parking are also provided. Rooms are non-smoking. Skiing is all around Mittersill Resort, the only slope side resort abutting the Peabody slopes, with access to the challenging Cannon Mountain, the Highest Ski Area Summit in New Hampshire! (vertical rise of 2,146 feet cover with 21 miles of trails and slopes) and its Cannon Aerial Tramway. The resort is also convenient to Bretton Woods, Loon Mountain, Attitash and Waterville Valley ski and recreation areas. Cross-country skiing and ski-doo trails also abound. Lots of other attraction are within an easy drive, including the famous Cog Railway to the top of Mount Washington. If shopping is also of interest, Mittersill is centrally located to all White Mountain area attractions and endless shopping opportunities at the many outlet stores (with no sales tax in NH!). The old and the new happily co-exist in Franconia. This is also an antique lover's paradise. The finest in both traditional and modern crafts are presented in cozy galleries in nearby Littleton and Bethlehem by the New Hampshire League of Craftsmen. Owner direct! No extra fees for taxes or cleaning, etc.; only a damage deposit is required.
