| Hi! After moving around for work during COVID, I'm looking for a special place to call home for the next few years. I'm looking for a landlord who values the security of a reliable tenant and who appreciates that I will treat their home as if it were my own property. I'm currently staying with a friend in East City and have a flexible timeline for moving in. Looking to stay in Peterborough or within approximately a 15 mins drive. Below are some of my specifics and I've provided details to help both you and I determine if we are a good fit. About me: - Working professional in a permanent position. - Mostly remote work but in the office a few times a month. - In the last stages of my PhD and also an artist, so I am often very quiet. - I have great credit, stable income, excellent references and I am an impeccable tenant, often paying my rent early. - I have a senior dog who loves to nap most of the day and is well trained. - Non smoking What I need: - 2-3 bedroom house - 1.5 or 2 bathrooms - rent controlled (built earlier than 2018) - yearly lease - unfurnished - little to no carpet - lots of natural light - yard with direct access from the house - no shared spaces and no shared/split utilities - off street parking for 1 - laundry included or up to code hook ups available - no super steep stairs (my dog has arthritis) - ample storage space, including kitchen counter space and cabinets/pantry - no florescent lighting - AC Would be nice: - dishwasher - garage or covered parking - no other rental units in the house - patio/balcony - single level home or minimal stairs to access all areas - utilities in my name Budget negotiable.
