| I'm looking for a roommate to take 1 bedroom + private bathroom and walk in closet in Guelph. This is one of two rooms in a two bed/two bath + den apartment. -Large bedroom with private bathroom -Walk-in closet -Shared den, living room, balcony, kitchen table, washer/dryer room, entry closet space, and kitchen space. -Lots of storage in kitchen, with dishwasher. -9th floor. -$1365 monthly includes Bell optical internet. -Electricity & Water are extra and will be split with a small discount to you because of my pets. -First and Last month's rent required for the lease. -Please note the lease period is from your start date to 31 July 2026 (more than 1 year). If you're a student, this is not an appropriate place to sublease out during summer months. -1042 Paisley building is part of a complex that includes in-building gym, small movie theatre, and a locked bike room; it's across the street from groceries, dentist, pizza, dessert shops, etc. Tim H's is just down the street, Costco across the street. -17/18 bus is across the street, I take it daily to the University. -Parking available, please inquire for details. -Storage lockers are apparently available (I don't have one), please inquire for details. -Lease start is flexible, ideally July 1st but as soon as June 1st. Can be prorated accordingly. All shared furnishings and kitchen equipment is supplied; you are welcome to use all cooking and baking equipment, utensils, dishes, etc. There's a food processor, ice cream machine, microwave, and blender among other things. Apple TV and 40" TV. This will perhaps be a good fit for someone who enjoys access to many things but does not / does not want to own them. I'll deal directly with the apartment building account, Bell internet account, and the utilities account - you pay rent/utilities straight to me. I'm a professional musician with a doctorate just returning to U of Guelph for a shift into the Masters in Relational & Family Therapy program. I'm respectful, expect to give and receive honest communication and expressed needs, and I'm pretty quirky and interesting with a decent wit. I like to cook and bake; a few plants are inside and tomatoes and peppers are grown on the balcony. I'm a fan of having a small group of friends over for a meal once in a while, and otherwise am pretty quiet. Two resident guinea pigs are on site, and they will want you to feed them treats. Non smoker is essential for me. I'm neat and tidy and do best with someone with similar habits. Though age does not necessarily matter, please note I am a "mature" student - a Masters or PhD student or working person will likely best suit us both as roommates. If you're an undergrad of typical age and want to reach out, please still do so - 50-year-olds can be immature and 20-year-olds can be wise.
