| Senior looking for help to finish renovations in older home, in exchange for free accommodation to handy person in need of housing. Age unimportant, but maturity and no vices are. This is a fine opportunity to make... 1) a significant improvement in your own savings situation; and, 2) a big difference in my health and welfare. Home has good bones and is 2/3 done, but needs work completed for full enjoyment of this great space. Live-in owner pays for all materials outlay. Assistance with work only is expected, and will proceed only at a schedule compatible with both parties, owner and helper. (No 'slave labour' schedule expected or required. 'Part time' is the pace, with occasional intensive pushes during project completions.) Home has 2.5 bathrooms and around 1800 square feet of living space. I am looking for someone who has patience with older people, and some working knowledge of and experience with renovation work or construction trades of some kind. (Electrical, plumbing, drywall, carpentry, flooring, roofing... whatever. Not fussy, and person doesn't have to be a professional. Just willing, honest, reliable, quick learner, and physically fit.) Am willing to offer free accommodation up to one year duration for assistance to get this house in proper order. Accommodation does not include food, transportation, or any services like cooking or cleaning. Free parking included and, although this is a central location, your own vehicle is a good idea for getting around. Accommodation does NOT include rave parties on weekends. Candidate will willingly pitch in with housework, and shared utility costs. (Heating, electricity, water & sewage expenses. Owner covers all other household expenses.)
