| Hey there! Are you a rad person at a solid place in life who's looking to split more than rent with the person they live with? Then you should probably be my new housemate! *Please read the entire ad and send me a message based on the questions below (who you are, hobbies, music, what you’re into in life etc.) - won't respond otherwise* :) As my lovely roommate heads off to her next adventure, I'm looking to fill the 2nd bedroom of our quirky 2 bdrm loft apartment in Chinatown. We're looking to fill the spot for April but there might be some move-in flexibility depending on whether you're the chosen one. Ideally looking for a mid-20 to early 30s young professional/artist/academic chiller who knows what they're about in life, thinks critically, is communicative, intentional, and empathetic, rolls with the punches, is down to occasionally hang/cook/toss some friz in the park across the street/go dancing (...and loves techno...). I'm 30 and work at Global Affairs. I'm into photography, scotch, wine, tackling inequality and social policy, cooking, traveling, comedy, music (funk, disco, blues, house, jazz, classical, good indie, soul, techno, psytrance, acid, etc.), vinyl, good conversations with solid folks, impromptu adventures, weird artsy stuff, tending to my plant jungle, thrifty finds, tasty cheeses, fashion, hiking, tennis, other outdoorsy shenanigans, and occasional spa visits. I'm at work twice/week and work at the office set-up in my room. Living with someone else can be a lot of fun when the chemistry is there, so it’s always been the ideal situation for me if the stars are aligned. Located in an area with great bus access to the 10, 11, & 14 as well as the cheap grocery stores in Chinatown! The space has heaps of natural light, plants galore, an epic sound system, and a washer/dryer. Room will be unfurnished, and I’m absolutely open to redecorating/rearranging the shared space - it’s due for an overhaul! The bedroom will be unfurnished, but you can chat with my housemate about what she may be willing to leave/sell. Also happy to talk about combining furniture and other common area things - I'm looking to spice up the space and am totally open to ideas :) If this sounds like your vibe, feel free to reach out and share a bit about yourself, what life's got you up to, and what kind of artists or hobbies you're into and we'll go from there : ) - bonus points if you've been to some sweet raves/fests lately. |
