| Looking for a roommate to move in June 1st. This is an ideal home for a graduate student or young professional. This house is 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, and you would be sharing the upstairs bathroom with one person. I, and my boyfriend, live in the basement with the second bathroom. All utilities and internet are included. The shared spaces are all furnished but the bedroom itself is unfurnished. Living room, dining room and your bedroom have all been recently repainted. We have a powerful window AC unit on the main floor, and there is also an AC unit available for your bedroom. (No extra costs for AC in the summer.) There is lots of storage space in the basement for luggage and seasonal stuff. The house has a very spacious shared main floor and laundry is in the basement. The kitchen has a dishwasher and lots of storage. We have two fridges, so you will only be sharing with one person. The kitchen comes furnished and I have lots of extra kitchen supplies and gadgets that will be all available to you. Walk or bus to downtown or uOttawa, and a direct bus to Carleton with the #7. Grocery store is 5 minute walk away. A community pool and an Anytime Fitness are both only a block away. The driveway will not be available, but street parking is available through the city. (770 $ annually) We also have gated backyard/patio. The patio is not visible from the street, so it’s relatively safe for bike parking. The house currently has two cats and they are very friendly, but we cannot accept anymore cats. I’m willing to consider small/medium sized dogs, but I would have to meet them first.
