Description
Offering a large basement bedroom + den (price flexible) in our rented house in a quiet Castle Heights neighbourhood in Ottawa. The availability of our room is also flexible - it is available beginning in February but if March works better, we can make that happen! Some utilities included. Common areas include the kitchen, bathroom, laundry room, and living room, and parking is available for an extra fee. Our landlords are lovely people and they live next door; they’re very quick to remedy any issues in the house. As you can see, the basement bedroom is large enough for a queen sized bed, a desk AND a TV nook with some room to spare! And the den would make a perfect office or gaming area. All furniture currently in the rooms can be gone before your move-in date, giving any potential roommate a nice clean slate. We’ll also be cleaning the area before you move in so rest assured, it will be tidy and ready when you are! Some pieces will be staying - we can let you know which ones and you can tell us if you’d like it kept there or removed! Our names are Marty and Li, they/them and he/they, respectively. We are two young professionals in our late 20s/early 30s, one working in retail and the other at a veterinary hospital. We’ve been living together as roommates since 2020 and are both very chill, and very nerdy. We’ve got 2 cats, a small dog, and a tank full of shrimp as animal companions here and we’re open to more, just let us know who you have in mind! We’re happy to share things about ourselves - shoot us a message and ask and we’ll be glad to chat! Please note: we are seeking a person who is LGBTQ+ friendly. The two of us are openly queer and would like our home to remain a fun and safe place for us to live in. Thank you, and let us know if you have any questions or concerns.
