| Hello! I’m in search of two people to fill a bedroom and a master bedroom of a pretty spacious three bedroom White Oaks apartment. The smaller of the two rooms has a sizeable closet space and wall-wide window! It’s currently occupied so I haven’t been able to update the photos (please excuse prior roommate’s mid-moving mess), but I’ll provide apartment tours to prospective roomies. This room’s rent is $580 plus utilities/internet. (Seen pictured in first two attached photos). The master bedroom includes its own walk-in closet and en-suite bathroom. Rent would be $900/month plus utilities/internet. Please note that this room has received a fantastic paint job (sunny yellow accent wall and sky blue paint) since these photos have been taken, but the space is occupied at the moment so new photos can’t be provided yet. Currently, unlimited internet is $33/person and utilities range by monthly usage which is often variable depending on season. This apartment is rent controlled but we’re still subject to yearly increases in rent and occasionally internet when Bell decides to inflate its rate which are split evenly between people. Apartment perks include 2 friendly, sweet cats! Get cat cuddles and cat benefits without any of the involved work in caring for them. Access to a clean and renovated 24/7 resident-only laundry room! Directly across the street from Sheridan College, so it takes like 5 mins to walk to school! (10 if you’re an animation gremlin at the back of campus). Optional indoor/outdoor parking available for an extra fee of $70 (underground parking available). We got a sweet balcony with free real estate for gardening. Large living room/dining area so lots of space for decorating, storage or furniture. Good sized kitchen with expected amenities, I don’t mind sharing cookware or dishware if anyone needs it. We’re right above the Rabba, a 24hr grocery store with a Tim Hortons inside. The plaza also has a walk-in clinic/pharmacy, some super great restaurants including Yunshang Rice Noodles, Monaghan’s, Punjabi Flavours, Gino’s Pizza, Burger King, and Shelby’s Legendary Shawarma. We’re right on some primary bus routes, there’s a stop outside the building and a mini terminal at the school. Easy access to Oakville Go for broader Ontario travel as well! Oakville Place mall is right down the road, there’s also a medical plaza on the way which has proven very convenient. I’m primarily in search of Sheridan students or full time working professionals to join me. I’m a past animation student myself but currently work full time. Must be clean and respectful of shared spaces and willing to clean up for yourself. I’m a quiet house ghost sort so I appreciate discretion when bringing people over as this space is meant for peace and safety and I value a calm living space. Fellow LGBTQ+ individuals welcome, I'm a queer person myself! Official move in would be May 3rd (but arrangements can be made since date is flexible), very casual living arrangement here since I've been month to month for ages. No dogs allowed since I have cats already, but otherwise pet friendly for smaller additions. Message me if you’re interested!
