| Please take a moment to send me a note as it is a bit hard to describe in the ad. Room for Rent in Clarington (Newcastle) Not a boarding house, this is my home. Do yourself a favour and reach out to me and let's talk about it. I have one room to rent in my home in Newcastle two minutes from the 401. I’m gone every other week and there is one other person renting another room. Since the house is shared with my son and I (this is changing in the near future), I’m ideally looking for a single, settled, responsible, male tenant. My home is in a quiet area with free parking available in the driveway. You supply the furniture you need for your bedroom (although there is some there if needed) and I’ll supply the Wi-Fi, cable on main floor, power, water and other furnishings. You’ll have complete access to all the common areas of the home including bathroom, living room, kitchen, basement, garage, backyard, and patio that includes a large Bar-B-Q, a firepit and a great view of the park. Rent will be $1200 per month due at the first of every month. Newcastle is a great little town with two grocery stores, an LCBO, several excellent pubs, and a great small-town vibe. Ideally, I’m looking for someone to stay at least six months (we can discuss but I ALWAYS do month to month leases as I'm not interested in holding anyone hostage) but preferably longer, a non smoker, and not too noisy. Perfect for OPG workers who are looking for a local spot to crash or any professionals new to the area. References, credit check, and income to be verified upon application.
