Description
PLEASE READ THIS AD IN ITS ENTIRETY AND PROVIDE THE REQUESTED INFORMATION IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN THE ROOM. As I don't want to waste anyone's time, please note the following information regarding the household: -Cigarette smoking is permitted in the house. -No drug or pot users. This includes occasional users. If you use drugs or pot this is not the house for you. -No pets. I have a rabbit and she is not keen on other animals. -No shared rooms/couples. -All utilities, the housekeeper and unlimited wired and wi-fi internet costs are included in the rent. -Parking is an additional $100/month if required. Please continue to read my ad if you are okay with the terms noted above. As I receive quite a few emails asking me questions that are already answered in the ad, please ensure you read the ad in its entirety before replying. This second floor master bedroom is 15' x 11' and it has a double closet and hardwood flooring. The room comes furnished with a twin bed, night stand, dresser, desk with chair, bookcase, loveseat and storage ottoman. This end unit townhouse in the Bayshore area was completely renovated 5 years ago with all new flooring, appliances, etc. There is a good size kitchen, living room, dining room, 1.5 bathrooms, a fenced back yard, washer, dryer, air conditioning and storage space. There are also two refrigerators. As four males (32, 50 and 51 year old working professionals and a 29 year old student) currently reside here, another male tenant is preferred. You must be smoker friendly as a cigarette smoker who smokes in the house resides here. No drugs including pot are permitted inside or outside of the house. If you use illegal drugs or pot, even just occasionally, please find other accommodations. This is a friendly, quiet and tidy household where everyone's privacy is respected. As a member of the household is employed in a job that requires shift work this is not a party house but very occasional guests are fine. No pets are allowed as I have a rabbit and she is not keen on other animals. Small caged animals kept in your room, i.e. hamster, gerbil, etc. are fine. The best "fit" in this household will be someone who is mature, self-sufficient and independent. We are not a group of friends who live together but rather four guys who live their own lives and happen to share a house. Someone who demonstrates common sense, consideration and courtesy towards others while remembering that you are residing in a shared accommodation living arrangement will render you an ideal candidate. Priority will be given to students and working professionals who are looking for long term accommodations. The house is one bus away from Algonquin College and the University of Ottawa. Carleton University is two buses from the house. The 85 bus stop is right in front of the house and Bayshore Shopping Centre, which has many buses departing regularly, is a 5-10 minute walk from the house. An outdoor parking space is available for an additional $100/month. The rent is $800/month and a housekeeper comes in monthly. She will clean your room free of charge upon request. The rent is not negotiable and the room is for an individual (no shared rooms/couples). The lease is month to month so all you have to do is give 30 days’ notice and you are free to leave after that. The last month’s rent is required when you sign the lease and this guarantees you the room. The first month’s rent is due the day you move in. If you are reading this ad the room is still available. Please email me should you have any questions or wish to see the room. Please include a bit about yourself including the following information: -Age and gender. -Month you are looking to take occupancy. -Employment details including job title and length of time with current employer (if applicable). -Why you are moving from your current residence. You will not receive a reply if this information is not provided.
