Easy living in Navan Village! Stay in a comfortable, cosy, modest cottage, in a safe, desirable, community. Navan village is an oasis in the east of Ottawa. Available starting from July 5th. You enjoy free parking and private use of the cottage for your stay. Stay 31+ days After 31 $65 per night or 1900 per 31 days. Offering interim accomodation perfect for staycation, vacation, out of town workers, transfers, construction, housebuilding or moving delays. The surrounding area is home to a Heron; Otters, Wild Turkeys, Fireflies, ladybugs, groundhogs and Frogs... It is the perfect spot for nature lovers; offering mature trees, creek, barbecue and private space The lawn is an eclectic mixture of dandelion and clover with a touch of traditional grass. ..The rabbits love it! The surrounding area includes farms and private homes. Amenities include: Screened, back deck. Propane gas BBQ, Full kitchen. Living room /dining area. Two bedrooms; one queen bed, one double. One full bathroom ( tub and shower. ) Washer and dryer (No extra charges) Roku TV /Netflix. Wi fi. Free Parking! Hydro We do Snow removal in winter and grass cutting in summer. FULL KITCHEN (See updated pictures) We provide pots pans, dishes, cutlerty Keurig coffee maker, French press, Nesspreso, tea kettle. We also provide a starter set of cleaning products, Hygiene products and kitchen and bbq essentails, Olive oil, vinegar, mustard, ketchup, salt, pepper etc: If you need somthing not listed provided please let us know. If we can provide it we will. Working out details through clear communication, before a booking is requested, is crucial for me to feel confident in accepting a reservation. Please detail as much information as you are comfortable providing; include what dates you would like,will you be workiing from the cottage, who will be staying and what brings you to Ottawa. Also, a contact number is helpful. The cottage is not intended for permanent residents. (We may accept limited extensions when possible.) Space is limited and the house/property is not to be used for storage of personal property or valuables, furniture, appliances, or large personal items. Sheets, duvets, linens, and towels provided.( If you prefer to use your own Let us know we will remove ours to avoid a mixing up of linens.) Stairs to the basement (steep and carpet covered.) to access TV, washer and dryer Rules that must be accepted. The host reserves the right to refuse entry or remove anyone providing false or misleading information. The cottage is not child proof. Children and infants must be under the care of a responsible adult at all times. Clean up after your pets.(We provide doggie bags.) Pets are not to be left alone inside the cottage. Wash dishes, and remove all garbage before leaving. (We do not expect bedding or towels to be laundered. ) Amenities provided are available for the duration of the reservation and will be unavailable after 2pm on the reservation departure date. There is a creek near the property that is not suitable for swimming or fishing. Please consider this; especially if you are bringing children. The cottage is served by a deep drilled well into a large aquifer. The water, tested by health ontario, is potable. (good to drink ). VISITING THE OTTAWA AREA: The local Prescot Russell trail runs from Ontario to the Quebec border going east and towards Ottawa going west; offering a challenge for the adventurous. The trail is groomed during winter. If you love to walk, bicycle, snowshoe, ski, or Skidoo, this trail is for you. Dogs on leash welcome on the trail! Must visits in downtown Ottawa include: The Parliament Buildings, the National Art Gallery, the National Arts Center, The Byward Market, Rideau Locks, The Museum of Nature and Major Hills Park. The best option to get to Ottawa is by car. The Park and ride option offers parking for your vehicle at a number of convenient locations. Please check that you take all your belongings at checkout. We will not be responsible for the storage, or return, of items left after checkout . THE AREA: ( 15 mins) drive to Petrie Island nature trails and beach. Petrie Island offers a splendid beach in a conservation area. ( No dogs allowed) Take the scenic route from Orleans to downtown Ottawa along the George Etienne Cartier parkway. After National Capital sights, come home to Navan for a change of pace . Visit Domain Perrault winery (Friday - Sunday 11am-5pm ) The Domaine Perrault Winery offers wine tasting in a relaxed atmosphere. 15 mins drive to Hammond Golf and Country club and Broken Stick brewery and restaurant (highly recomended.Very Dog freindly, patio. 10mins-10 km Bearbrook Golf Club 15 mins-20km Mer Bleue Walking Trails “Mer Bleu has been designated an internationally significant wetland under the United Nations’ Ramsar Convention.” “The different loops may be completed in any combination, providing a walk as long as 12-km, or as short as 2.8-km. Each loop is numbered as a separate trail.” (Taken from the “Ontario Trails Council” website.) 20 mins-30 km Calypso Water Park. The biggest theme is water-park in North America. Offering 35 water-slides 100 water-games and summit tower, the tallest water-slide tower in North America and a one-acre wave pool. Open from June to September 1st (Information taken from the Calypso website). 35 mins-40km Nordik spa in Chelsea Quebec 1 hour -65 Km from Mont Saint-Marie Ski Hills. GROCERIES, SHOPPING AND DINING OUT. A very short drive will bring you to an abundance of grocery stores and family restaurants. 3mins-3km Seasonal roadside produce.
