| Deals Estate is looking for a bird dog who is interested in the Tricity (Kitchener-Waterloo-Cambridge) real estate area. What is a bird dog? A bird dog is someone who finds homeowners/landlords who want to sell their properties privately in exchange for a fee. Qualities we are looking for - You have a burning desire to get into the real estate investing space. - You have a very deep knowledge of the Tricity area. - You are able to build relationships quickly with people around you. What kinds of properties are we looking for? - VACANT, NEGLECTED AND IN POOR CONDITION - DISTRESSED PROPERTIES (high weeds, desperate in repairs, foreclosure, power of sale boards on windows, etc.) - PROPERTIES WITH BAD TENANTS Tasks Required: - Drive and/or walk around different neighborhoods in the Tricity area to find distressed properties - Drop off letters to these distressed properties - Door knocking and initiating conversations with homeowners to see if they or people they know want to sell their home. What are we offering? - For every successful lead, we will pay a fee of $1000 upon closing - We will work with you to provide adequate training on what kinds of properties and homeowners to look out for. - Any additional lead generation fees (printing/postage/online marketing) required to do the job well will be borne by us.
