| Looking for a roommate to rent the basement bedroom and bathroom in the house I rent. Nearest intersection is Mill and Stirling in Kitchener. Minutes away from the 3, 35 and 16 bus lines. 10 min walk to the ION train station. Private space includes: Basement bedroom, bathroom, storage room Shared space includes: Basement hall and laundry room; main floor kitchen, living room, dining room, backyard, shed. Accessibility information: there are 2 steps up to the walkway in front of the house (no railing), 5 steps up to the house (railing), and 12 steps down to the basement (no railing). You have the option of a shared entrance or separate entrance. The backyard is fenced, and I have gardens that I grow veggies in in the summer. You are also welcome to use that space. There is parking for one in a stacked driveway, we can discuss logistics of moving cars around as needed. Please no smoking or vaping. These are rules put in place by the landlords. We can discuss pets, but I ask no cats please because another former housemate had one and I was very allergic to him. The space is not suitable for a couple. About me: I'm a queer psychotherapist with a friendly standard poodle. I currently work outside the home, but will be transitioning to working from home more over the next year.
