| Hi, Me and my friend Dylan are looking for someone to share our living space with. A bit about us, I work as an audio engineer and theater technician at the Isabel Bader Center at Queens as well as some freelancing audio stuff. I am generally a bit of a tech and music nerd, I really enjoy listening to podcasts, cooking and watching and discussing films. Dylan is also an audio engineer and musician who works at a studio here in town as well as at the Isabel and has played in a bunch of bands around town. We are both fairly quiet and easy going people in our mid twenties. We are ideally looking for someone who is respectful of other people, willing to help out around the house and is covid safety conscious. If you are interested in sharing food and on occasion enjoying meals together and hanging out that is a bonus! The house is a big old detached home centrally located across from Skeleton Park. It is very easy to get around from here, it’s about a 5-10 minute walk to downtown and is super walkable and bike friendly. The house includes a large kitchen with full sized stove, fridge, dishwasher and microwave. A sun porch and a double parlor on the main floor which is currently set up as a living room in one half and jam space for the person who is leaving in the other half. We will probably keep the jam space somewhat music focused as a music room/studio/extension of the living room but are open to other ideas. The upstairs has three bedrooms and a bathroom. The bedroom available now is a cozy room with a large window and a decent closet. As you can see from the pictures it currently has a queen size bed in it which kinda hogs the room but with a twin or double would be much roomier. The dimensions are about 9’ x 8’ and the room will be painted prior to someone moving in as well as some of the other rooms in the house. There is laundry in the basement and lots of room for storage down there. There is also a garage outside with more storage space and a workshop. There is currently no parking available but street parking would probably be an option. Rent is $570 a month plus internet and utilities.
