| Hey folks! Large friendly cooperative household in the Glebe is looking for two new housemates! Both rooms available May 1st. Six folks looking to fill two rooms to replace those moving April 30. Dan & Angela are a couple who participated in establishing the co-op house many years ago. Angela is an environmental and community activist. Dan is a PhD. consulting economist. Ted does research and organizing for a union. Kate is a graduate student in health policy, working a practicum. Alex is experiencing Canada on a work and holiday visa, now moving on to new adventures in British Columbia and Bridget is an arborist moving to Wakefield Quebec to share space in nature with friends. We are politically progressive and try to be environmentally responsible. Looking for person of similar interests, with interesting tales to tell. The house has a large kitchen, 3 living rooms, 6 bedrooms, 2 and 1/2 bathrooms, office space, basement with laundry and a big backyard with vegetable and flower garden. The rooms available are: 'Terra Cotta Room' $973.75, rising 2.5% on Nov. 1, 2025 'Blue Room' $948.12 rising 2.5% on Nov. 1 2025. (2.5% is the Ontario guideline for 2025). Deposit is first and last months rent. Rent includes utilities plus high-speed internet, Netflix, etc. We don’t have a phone - everyone uses their cell.
