| Currently available. You would be sharing the main floor of the house with myself, the owner. It's an 8 min walk to the Main St subway station and 11 min walk to Danforth GO (12 min train to Union). The bedroom is large (4 m by 3.8 m) with a big window and the newly renovated kitchen is well equipped. There is also a large backyard, in-unit laundry, and parking is available at an additional cost. Utilities, fast internet, as well as kitchen and living room furniture are included. The bathroom is quite small but I'm 5'11" (180 cm) and the size works for me. I'm a 28 year old software developer and work downtown 3-5 days/week and from home the other days. In my free time I like to cook, relax watching TV, climb at a gym, travel, and go for walks. As a roommate I'm respectful, quiet, clean, and always down for a good conversation. I recently moved in and renovated the kitchen with granite counters and new appliances including a gas stove and dishwasher. The home has hardwood floors and is freshly painted. The street is quiet, though only 5-10 min. walk to Danforth (groceries, drugstore, wide range of restaurants). Taylor Creek is very close with its long trails for walking or biking. The bedroom is not furnished, however, I have furniture you can use if needed. The yard, front porch and large back deck would be shared by you, me and the tenant(s) of the basement apartment. The basement apartment has its own entrance and no indoor space is shared with the tenant(s) once it's rented. Proof of income, a credit check, landlord references and the last month's rent deposit would be needed. |
