| Hi! :) I am 32/female currently living in Orillia, but looking to move to Barrie for my college course that is starting in September 2025. I am hoping to find an apartment for only myself. (But if any potential mature student housemates see this post and are maybe interested in splitting rent in a home/apartment or are looking for another student to rent, please do not hesitate to reach out to me and ask any questions.) Please and thank you. --- A little about me; • I keep to myself a lot, quiet, and listen to most things with headphones. • The place I call home is important and I am a firm believer that the environment we live in deserves respect and to be taken care of, too. • Organized and neat to a fault. (lol) • I do NOT smoke/vape/drugs. I occasionally have a beer or wine in the summer or on my birthday, but I prefer being sober. • I have lived alone before, had my own apartment for 2 years in Kingston Ontario until I moved back to Orillia to help take care of my elderly grandparents. My grandfather was very sick at the time when I moved in to help. (I pay rent, I am not living under their roof for free.) • I love to take care of others, especially elders, children, and animals. • I do have a cat. She is around 8-9 years old. She is an absolute sweetheart, doesn't break anything or disturb the home. She's usually sleeping in her favorite box or following me around. I was taught growing up that a pet is a lifelong commitment, so she will be living with me. I just hope to find a safe space for her and I to call home so I can focus on my studies to help the community and to be the best I can be to help others.
