Description
Live above ground with sane people, in downtown Toronto. If the add is up, the room is still available. The furnished room is $800/month and is available starting August 1st, for one person. You are sharing a kitchen and bathroom with two other female tenants. This involves cleaning up after yourself and shared cleaning of common areas with the other tenants. So everyone can use the space. There is no shared living room. If you want friends, partners or family to visit/stay with you then you need to rent an apartment and not a room in a shared house, like this. The room includes wifi/internet, all utilities, central A/C and heating. You are not sharing the room with anyone else and there is lock on the door. There are no additional charges except a $150 refundable key deposit. Which will be refunded only when you return the keys. I am looking for a responsible female student, staying at least 6 months. Who works/studies during the day and is quiet at night, clean, no pets, non-smoker and no drugs (obviously). The room is on the 2nd floor of a house and has lots of light. The room is furnished with a desk, chair, bed, bookshelf and closet. Please note I cannot un-furnish the room. I have nowhere to store the furniture. The house is quiet, clean, "low drama" and owner occupied on the first floor. The current tenants and me are full time day working professionals or students. So anyone working shifts, late evenings or likes to be up at night would not be a good fit. The house is approximately 15 minute walk to Ossington subway station or 2 minute walk to Dupont or 24hr Ossington bus stops. Grocery stores and Laundromats are only one or two blocks away and a really nice cafe is right across the street. Please host your friends there or at any number of nearby restaurants or Cafes. Please try to answer these questions in your email if you are interested: 1) Tell me when you looking to rent 2) Source of income? 3) How long you want to stay? 4) If you are Ok with being quiet at night? 5) If you are Ok with not having guests? 6) A little about yourself? To rent the room you will need picture ID, passport or Driver License, proof of income or savings, 1st and last months rent and key deposit. FYI, I don't give out my phone number until you become a tenant. It just stops people from calling me at all times of the day/night for information that usually is already in the add. I don't rent to people I can't meet in person first. Sorry for length of the add but hopefully it saves your time and mine, by knowing more about the place. All the best and good luck in your search.
