| 2025 SUMMER DATES NOW AVAILABLE!! - discount given to repeat renters! ISLAND RETREAT! Family friendly, cozy cottage for rent on Rice Lake. Private Dock. Shallow entry or jump off the dock. Sun sets on this side of the Island, so the water is warm all day! Hardly any mosquitos and bugs! Almost always has a breeze! Sleeps 6 +2 - Master has a queen bed with large closet, 2nd Bedroom has a double bed on the bottom bunk and twin on the top bunkbed, 3rd Bedroom has a twin bed and a pull out twin mattress. There is room for a blow up mattress in the large Livingroom or use the futon. Livingroom is bright and spacious and overlooks the Lake. Has a Tv and DVD player, unplug and unwind here! Huge back yard with firepit and trails to walk around the entire island. BBQ on the deck or lay in the hammock, while enjoying the lake view. Great spot for fishing and sight seeing. Two adult Kayaks, One double Kayak and Two children Kayaks available for use. Lifejackets will be left at the property. Hard top gazebo with lights and mosquito net on the upper deck to extend your evening. Well behaved dogs are welcome! Brand New Dock just installed summer of 2024!! Cottage is located on Long Island on Rice Lake- If you have your own boat, you may use the boat launch close by and dock right at the cottage, or arrange for a Water Taxi (approx. $45/way). This cottage is water access only. There are no motorized vehicles allowed on the island. There are no stores on the island, however, the Marina has a store with milk, snacks, etc and a restaurant. The mainland is close enough that you can kayak across. All your garbage gets left at the marina when you leave. For more information PM me. This summer most rental periods will be from Sunday to Friday, however, a few week long dates will be available (please request details) and a few weekend only dates will be available (see below or request details).
