I (25 M) am in search of a roommate to sublet a 2 bedroom apartment with me in Lower Sackville. Rent is $1420 total, with heat and water included. We pay electricity & internet. Internet is 82/month. Electricity varies, but should be in the $200 range bimonthly So that comes out to ~$850 each Parking is extra Breakdown of the space: 2 bedrooms, each with a closet. One bathroom. Three closets for linens, boots and storage. Large open concept kitchen/livingroom. And a small deck with a BBQ. Laundry is shared in the building with a laundry room on each floor. Your bedroom is optionally furnished as there is already a bed and dresser in there but both can also be removed upon request. The building has a lot of stairs and no elevators so the space may not be suitable for those with mobility issues. In terms of location it's (according to Google maps) a ten minute walk to the Sackville bus terminal, and a 15-20 minute walk to Downsview plaza which has a Sobey's, Dollarama, Canadian Tire, Giant Tiger, a 24 hour Goodlife fitness and several restauraunts; there is also an Atlantic Superstore across the road from the plaza. The Bedford Commons is also a short drive or bus ride away (There is a stop for bus #88 Bedford Commons right outside the apartment) For those who drive you will enjoy quick and easy access to major arteries for the city including: The Bedford Highway, Highways 101 and 102, the newly opened Highway 107 Burnside Express way and the Bedford bypass onto Windmill road. In terms of location convenience to cost ratio there aren't too many options better than this in the current housing market from what I've seen. As for myself I'm a quieter individual, I don't party, do drugs, or smoke, and I only drink on occasion. (Smokers are welcome but you must do so outside on the deck) I'm a huge nerd so you can expect all the standard hobbies from me. I work mornings so I try to be asleep a bit earlier; folks who work later shifts are of course welcome just please be mindful. Must be okay with cats as you will be living with one, she is very well behaved but can be shy around strangers. LGBTQ+ friendly. That's all the major stuff.
