| Hello! I'm looking for someone to share a lease with me beginning July 1st, 2025 (flexible) to end of February 2026, with possibility of renewing the lease. The rent is $1047.5 and wifi/tenants insurance/power is separate (I'm guessing it'll be less than $200 a month.. I use space heaters and standing fans rather than heaters and AC so if you do too, then we can keep the power cost low) About the apartment: Located in South End, a 10 min walk from Central Library, Public Gardens, Sobeys, Farmer's Market/Waterfront, etc. The apartment is spacious (especially the kitchen) and comes with a patio. In the building there's paid laundry, a gym, a garage for parking, and indoor bike parking. Your room doesn't have a closet but there a 2 storage closets and you can have 1 for yourself that I won't touch. About me: I'm a 30 year old woman who works as a Landscape Gardener for HRM. I'm queer, neurodivergent, friendly, and open minded. I like living in a clean/clutter free home, I cook a lot, and healthy communication + respecting boundaries is a big deal to me. I love Nature (especially plants) and textile arts. What I'm looking for: A roommate who's in their mid 20s or older with a stable income and experience living well with roommates. Someone who will put consistent effort into cleaning up after themselves, helping with chores in common areas, communicating respectfully, and respecting my boundaries + communicating theirs. I prefer living with more quiet people who won't bring substances/smoking into the apartment and drink minimally or not at all. Being open minded and understanding of neurodivergency, queerness, and people of different ethnicities/cultures/backgrounds is a must.
