Hate to be this person, but unfortunately it’s unmanageable otherwise. Looking for a roommate to share a 2-bedroom 1-bath apartment for November. The apartment is on Stradbrook Avenue in Osborne Village. The cost would be around $700 with all utilities. You would need to cosign the lease. The room for you is unfurnished but the apartment is furnished with basics. If you are interested in a viewing, I will start scheduling as of October 28. A bit about myself, I am a graduate student (she/they in 30s) studying therapy. I’m from Montreal and moved to Winnipeg for school 2 months ago. I’m slowly discovering the city, cafes, parks, bookstores, dance classes, etc. I’m pretty easygoing. Once I’m more settled, I’m hoping to host friends and loved ones from Montreal for a few days at a time. I’m also hoping to become more involved in community organizing and justice movements in the city. I’m looking for someone who’s also easygoing. Most important to me is that we can communicate and find a way to live together that works for both of us. I would prefer someone in their 30s / late 20s, but I’m open.
