| Do you want to live with people who want to live with people? Are you looking for a new place to live that comes with a supportive and collaborative community? We are a group of professionals, artists, and community organizers in our 20s, 30s and 40s seeking a new 2SLGBTQ* friendly resident to join our environmentally-conscious community living home in Wolseley. Life can be hard and expensive, but when you work with others it is less so. We pool resources, collaborate on meal prep, cleaning, yardwork, and other responsibilities, and meet weekly as a household to ensure we’re in good communication. We are looking for a new housemate with the community values, skills, and motivation to contribute to a happy and healthy home. Currently we have a jigsaw puzzle going at all times. The house is a three-story character home filled with hardwood and house plants. There is plenty of communal space outside of your bedroom with two kitchens, two bathrooms, a living room, den, and front and back yards with beautiful gardens. Laundry and parking are also available onsite. The house is minutes from restaurants, parks, and shops in West Broadway and Wolseley, including a neighbourhood grocery store and bakeries. The #10, #29, and #36 bus lines are mere minutes away, and the house is walking distance to West Broadway, West End, Downtown, and Osborne. Rent is $500 per month. Internet and utility bills are divided amongst all housemates and come out to about $90 extra per month. We also share some food and household costs. There are 4 cats living in the house at present so we probably cannot take anymore cats at the moment. The room available is on the 2nd floor with a east facing window, has hardwood floors and is approximately 10ft x 10ft with a spacious closet with a light in it. Currently the room is unfurnished We welcome potential housemates of all genders, ages, cultural backgrounds, and sexual orientations, so long as you long as you share our inclusive community and environmental values.
