The room includes a large double closet and linoleum flooring. ~ One can nestle up in the spacious light-filled kitchen with garden view, complete with Vitamix blender, stove, fridge, dishwasher, dishes, and pots and pans for your use. Cosy living room is equipped with a couch and wood-burning stove. Our private deck & huge back yard is lovely to hang out in on warm summer nights and there is much potential to grow your own food and develop more beds. Laundry room is located on the main floor. Parking in our driveway can accommodate 1 to 3 vehicles. Shed in our backyard houses bikes and there is additional storage in the house and under our deck. ~ We are a young professional working married couple who compost and recycle and are health and eco-conscious. We sometimes work from home via our private Chinese Medicine practice (www.twincedars.ca) and this necessitates a clean, quiet and peaceful household. 5 days a week we work outside of our home, supervising students at the local Chinese Medicine college. Agni also practices acupuncture in a downtown clinic. We share basic household chores and like to relax when we are home, apart from the occasional potluck, albeit not much of this due to covid! We enjoy getting outside, hiking, camping, biking and cooking delicious food. Our other tenant leases a ground floor bedroom and works from home as a freelance journalist. ~ Our house is on a quiet street in a residential neighbourhood yet close to amenities: 3 blocks to Thrifty Foods, Italian Bakery, Cedar Hill Golf Course and Recreation Center.
