| Private FLOOR in a house with one housemate(me). Available FEBRUARY 1ST I am renting a floor in a 2 floor unit of 100 year old house next to Commercial Drive near 1st. Commercial Drive is a very cool and artistic neighbourhood with coffee shops, vintage stores, bars, farmers markets, and bakeries. The house is close to VCC and about 15 minutes from the skytrain to SFU and the rapid transit bus line to UBC. There is also a bus stop 2 minutes away if you don't feel like walking to the skytrain station. $1452 including utilities except internet and coin laundry in the building. Your floor of the house includes the larger bedroom with a big window that looks over the block and a SECOND large room with an outdoor fire escape. The house is furnished and we have all of the kitchen appliances you could want. There is safe bike storage and a large outdoor garden to hang out in or get into gardening. We have 1.5 bathrooms with one toilet room with a sink and a separate room with a sink and shower. There is abundant storage space because it is a large unit. My bedroom is downstairs, next to the kitchen so your space would be very private. About me: I am 33 years old, I am from Toronto, and I work as a high school art teacher. In my free time I enjoy cooking, crochet, books, art, podcasts, and tv. I am very clean and looking for a roommate who also prefers a clean home.
