Description
Hi, I live in a 2 bedroom condo unit in downtown Vancouver and am looking for someone to share the place from May, as my current 3-year roommate is relocating for a job opportunity. The room is furnished with a single bed, a desk and chair, a night stand and a walk-in closet. You will have your own toilet and sink, but we will share the shower area. I am flexible for shower time, and if I have to take a shower in certain time I will give you heads-up and usually it will not last more than 20 minutes. We also share the living area and kitchen. The kitchen is well equipped, you are welcome to use most utensils as long as you clean them timely. The condo is also equipped with on site gym and pool. The location is unbeatable: Stadium-Chinatown skytrain station, T&T supermarket, drugstore are all within 50 meters of building. There are lots of dining options around as well including a 24 hour Subway just downstairs and a food court across the street. In addition, if you are attending school such as BCIT downtown campus, VCC, NEU and so on, all these campuses are around 15 minutes’ walk, same for downtown financial district. So it’s perfect for single professional and student who wants to embrace the convenience and vibrancy of downtown life. Rent: $1750 all inclusive. If you drive, there is an underground parking lot assigned to the unit with an extra of $150 per month. The stay period is flexible, as long as you give me one month notice period. However when you move in, as the common practice, I request 2 months of rent(the first and last month). About me: 36 old male, immigrated with East Asian background, been living in Canada for about 10 years. I love trying new cafes, reading, travelling or just taking a stroll to explore neighbourhoods. I am an accountant by trade in daytime, in the evening I am doing some computer science stuff for a potential career shift. I am on the introvert side, but I am generally very chilled, respectful and open-minded, I expect the same from you. Ideal roommate: Male, willing to refrain from hosting over-night guests, a student or full-time worker(but if you are currently seeking for employment it’s fine, as long as you can show me some proof that you have sufficient fund to pay the rental on time), willing to pay reasonable efforts to maintain the cleanness of common areas. Also, please be advised that the unit is not the best place to host a party. If interested(or any questions), please send me a message introducing yourself. Thanks:) Dylan
