| Available June 1st Caretaker type for rental, reduced from $825 to $700/month *plus utilities for a beautiful top floor room to share with only 2 other roommates, with the ability to work off some rent by doing hourly work on site (or elsewhere) part time. One person only please and must have some handy skills and be friendly and polite to keep and eye on the Owner's property when she cannot be there. Our home is close to Main and Fraser on 49th Ave. Top floor has new wood flooring, is recently painted and fully furnished, and includes cable (Broadband 300 and TV in Caretakers room and living room). This very large, bright room is a fully furnished bedroom with a Queen-sized bed, dresser, desk and a closet with some mountain views (quiet as rear facing room). All linens and towels provided... room has a locking door. Two other renters are quiet students or professionals. We wish to run a clean, safe and respectful house with no drama ! A chore list will be part of the lease agreement and everyone must clean up after themselves in the common areas. Caretaker must be there on Sundays, late afternoon and eve, to ensure these are done. References and half a months deposit is required. No issues with drugs or alcohol (important!) Not 402 friendly. Lots of shops/restaurants and banks etc. steps away as is the YMCA and Sunset community centre. Coin operated laundry on site. |
