| Available Now or May 15th We are offering a small but cozy bedroom for a short-term rental in a large top floor suite, part of a renovated character home. ONE person only. Rent $675/month, This is a nice clean furnished room in a large suite. Has a good sized private storage area. The common shared area (with only one other person) consists of a living room, 4-piece bath, fully stocked kitchen (pots/pans/plate ware) and eating area. Access is by an outdoors stairway, with a large deck upstairs. Beautiful mountain views from this deck and the kitchen. *The rent includes all furnishings, linens, cable, internet, and phone, but excludes a reasonable share of utilities plus $20 per month kitty for shared household supplies (toilet paper/paper towels/dish soap/hand soap/napkins/tin foil/saran wrap, etc.). We are looking for a clean, quiet, friendly renter. Renters are assigned a small weekly household chore and expected to clean up after themselves to help maintain a tidy house. Close to shopping (Buy-Low/No Frills). #8 bus is approx 20-25 mins to downtown and #33 and #41 buses to UBC (30 minutes). Lots of parks, restaurants, library, etc., very close by. References required, as is deposit equal to half month's rent. Caretaker on site. Not 420 friendly, not a "party house" and prefer a non-smoker. No pets.
