| We are looking for a responsible, clean, and friendly individual to share our home in East Richmond. At least two references (one from a past/current landlord and one from a work supervisor) will be requested. Long-term lease preferred. The room The room has a closet and is furnished with a single bed, desk and nightstand. The washroom, which includes a shower and bath combo, is shared with one other person (currently a male in his 20s). The house and shared spaces Our 7000 sq ft property has excellent facilities, including - A spacious kitchen with electric stove, microwave, fridge, oven, toaster and toaster oven. - Laundry room with front loading washer and dryer - Ample parking space in the driveway (but no street parking) - Workout/dance studio - Large back yard We are a family of three that values a simple, eco-friendly lifestyle. We enjoy hiking, cycling, gardening and baking. We currently share our home with three tenants and two friendly, well-behaved dogs. Our home is pet-friendly, except for cats, due to allergies. Location Our home is in a convenient location for an individual with a car. - 10 min drive to Richmond Centre - 10 min drive to South Vancouver - 10 min drive to Delta - 15 min drive to YVR Airport - 20 min drive to New Westminster - 20 min drive to Metrotown, Burnaby - Quick access to BC-91 and BC-99 highways The closest bus stop is the 405, which is a 10-15 min walk away. Rent details Rent for the bedroom is $700 per month plus utilities. In the past, utilities per person have been $40-70 per month in the summer, and $70-100 in the winter. The first month’s rent and damage deposit (half month’s rent) are required upon moving in. If moving in with pets, we would request a pet deposit ($300).
