| Looking for a respectful, tidy housemate who appreciates a calm and quiet atmosphere. Our home is on an extremely peaceful cul-de-sac on a quiet street. Ideal for VIU students or employees of Costco, Walmart, or Superstore. The furnished bedroom is sunny, with room-darkening drapes and easy-to-clean laminate flooring. The room comfortably fits a double bed or a single with a desk and chair. Rent is $750/month, including utilities and high-speed WiFi. You’ll share a clean, cozy 4-piece bathroom with a window for fresh air with Mom and teens (trained already! LOL). We all help out with regular house chores and occasional yardwork. The location is great for both work and play—just a 15-minute level walk to the lake for swimming or relaxing, and 20 minutes to nearby malls for groceries, banking, gym, and restaurants. Several bus stops nearby connect easily to downtown and the university. A few important notes: Per landlord’s rules, there’s no smoking, vaping, weed, or drugs anywhere on the property, inside or out. And sorry due to dog allergies and cats, no more animals. About us: we’re two responsible adults, two awesome teens, and a few mellow indoor cats. We enjoy nature, flowers, and relaxing —whether that’s on our large sunny front balcony, overlooking the huge backyard, or on the covered front patio. We also love the beach, forest walks, and the occasional trip to the gym or pool.
