| For those who are looking for short term rentals – 4 to 5 months 1 spacious bedroom available in a 2-bedroom apartment on Wakesiah Avenue, Nanaimo for $850/month, everything included. Bedroom is unfurnished and has a sliding door closet, along with a large window looking outside. *Needs to be okay with a couple living in the second bedroom* You will be sharing the apartment with a couple in the second bedroom. We are a respectful, quiet and tidy adult couple. We spend our weekends hiking or camping, on weekdays we like to stay inside after work and cook dinner. We’re looking for a responsible, respectful and pet-loving individual who appreciates a quiet environment and doesn’t always engage in loud gatherings. *Tenant needs to be okay with cats* I have a 3-year-old extremely well-behaved black cat who is fully house-trained, sheds very little and occasionally loves to make a run for the door, cause he’s a big explorer at heart. We always keep a close eye on him to make sure he doesn’t escape outside. The 40-bus stop to go to Woodgrove Centre or VIU/Downtown Nanaimo is a 1-minute walk from the apartment building. The 15-bus stop which takes a shorter route to Woodgrove is a 9-mins walk from here. If you own a car, parking is available on street or the designated parking spot for the unit in the parking lot. Kitchen, living room and the bathroom is a shared space. You are welcome to use everything in the kitchen - pots and pans, rice cooker, french press for coffee etc is available. You won’t need to bring any kitchen utensils. Unfortunately, the unit does not come with a dishwasher. Laundry unit is a minute walk to the next building. It's paid laundry. Student/employed person, men or women are welcome. Move in date – August 15th, 2025 The move-in date is flexible and can be adjusted to up to a week before the 15th.
