| Hello, I am new to the Vancouver area, and am looking for a roommate. I find the best value is usually found in a 2 bedroom apartement, and there are lots available, and so I am posting this ad in hopes that I can find the right person. About myself: I recently quit my job in Calgary, to move to a warmer climate. I am a mechanical engineer who is working on moving his career in the direction of robotics and automation. I am a very active and experienced mountain person, who loves rock climbing, ski touring, backpacking, caving, and water sports. When I'm not outside, you can expect me to be studying, or relaxing at home.Sometimes I have friends over for board games. I don't party, smoke, drink, etc. Male, ~30 years old. About yourself: What is most important is that we have some good housemate chemistry; intelligent and motivated, tidy but not obsessive, easy to live around. And if we have some hobbies or education in common, bonus! I'm open to anyone in their 20s or 30s, male or female. No pets (ok maybe a fish?), no cigarettes, no parties. About the apartment: I've posted an image showing where in the city I am most open to living; green=great, yellow=ok. I'd like to keep the rent under $1000/mo/person. I'm NOT open to renting a basement; I like to have lots of natural light! Looking for a place for May 1st, or possibly mid-April.
