Although both of them live very close to the unit I have not felt like they are checking in on me at any point or keeping an eye out on me. They are quick to answer any questions, address concerns and have always worked around my schedule when needing to enter the unit. They have also been wonderful with my dog, especially when I am unable to be home and they need to enter the unit. The unit is in the incredible neighbourhood of Anders. It is a quiet area with lots of walking paths, a dog park down the street and is close to all amenities without feeling like you’re in the middle of it. The unit itself has been maintained very well. They frequently change the furnace filters, have the yard in order and I have not had an issue with anything inside of it. Partial soundproofing was done right before I had moved in last summer and it has greatly reduced the sound you hear from the upstairs tenants. For a basement unit there is a lot more natural lighting than I would have expected, especially in the summer. Water pressure is great, the unit heats fast and there is tons of counter space. This unit is much larger than it appears in photos and with an almost completely fenced in yard and access to a back alley it has served me very well.” Previous Tenant: “I lived at #2-28 Abbott Ave for around 7 years. Obviously by living there for 7 years I liked living there. I enjoyed the place because it was a nice manageable space for myself and girlfriend at the time. I liked having the living room off the kitchen so I could catch the TV while cooking. The landlords were great, hands off as far as bothering us and came over almost immediately whenever something required maintenance. During our stay they even installed a larger living room window to give the basement suite a little more natural light for a more homey feel. I eventually moved out because my wife and I decided to have a baby and we felt the upstairs neighbor could potentially be bothered by our newborn crying. All in all great landlords and it had everything we needed. Would recommend this place to a Single or Couple, there is a 2nd bedroom if you have a child or roommate.”
